Bafang M Series
Bafang’s M series drive system will have you tearing uphill as well as down. From the initial pedal stroke you will discover the quiet and smooth power transition.
The M500 is a 250W motor, packing an impressive maximum 95Nm of torque and up to 15mph assisted speed.
For your off-road riding experience, delivering an explosive 500W, and max 120Nm of torque, the M600 motor will see you up to 28mph supported speed.
Engineered for performance, each motor has 1 torque and 2 speed sensors, producing a triple sensor system which reacts instantly to your input to rip through the trails. Bafang have been developing e-mobility components since 2003 and are now one of the leading manufactures of e-drive systems in the world. Enjoy their expertise in the drive systems used in both the Legacy and Inspire models.
What are the laws relating to e-bike power?
In the UK e-bikes with a maximum power output of 250 watts can legally be used on public highways. Bikes with higher output may only be used on private land with the land owner’s permission, unless they are registered and taxed. We sell our bikes for off-road use only.
Our lithium-ion batteries contain high quality cells producing maximum energy output. They are integrated within the downtube, increasing frame strength and providing protection to the battery.
Our Legacy model harbours a 48V Samsung cell battery offering an impressive 840Wh of power. Inspire packs a 48V LG cell battery producing a generous 672Wh energy bank.
Both batteries can be charged while in situ or after being removed from the frame. The battery is easily removed from the locking mechanism with 2 keys provided.
Bafang’s LCD display is designed to be robust and simple to use. Designed as a handlebar controller, it gives access to important information at a glance. It offers 5 customisable assistance levels, a walking mode and on the M600 motor, a ‘boost’ mode.
